We offer a complete assortment of fresh products, of which the main products are cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, citrus fruits, berries, bananas and potatoes.

Bakker is a subsidiary of Greenyard: the global market leader in fresh, frozen and prepared vegetables and fruit, flowers and plants. Bakker has divisions in The Netherlands, The Czech Republic and Belgium.

Commercial department

Our commercial department is always searching for the very best quality fruit and vegetables for the best price, sourced from as near as possible and as far as necessary. We work, for example, with our own dedicated broccoli grower who grows local Czech broccoli specifically for Albert in the Czech Republic.

Logistic planning and transport

Logistics planning is the spider in the web of our business. The products we buy are supplied to Albert in the right amount, at the right time.

The activities of Bakker Barendrecht in the Czech Republic began in the early nineties, as Ahold began to develop a network of supermarkets.
